Valentines Day // Some alternative ways to celebrate

Cupid‘s national day is fast approaching and whether you’re loved up or loving the single life, there’s no escaping it. Everyone has different opinions on the somewhat controversial day, but one thing we can all agree on is that roses become double the price, chocolate too and getting a table anywhere for a disappointing, set, overpriced menu is nigh on impossible. So I thought I would put together some fun alternative ways for everyone to celebrate, be it the long-term couples, the new daters, the singles loving life or the singles wanting to mingle/meet someone.

Dinner parties sorted // La Belle Assiette

I love hosting dinner parties. I always have, and since moving in with Ed (who luckily also really enjoys hosting) we’ve done it quite often.

Dining with a difference // My fave interactive experiences

As an ex drama student, and someone that grew up wanting to become an actress/famous, it’s no real shock that I’m a huge fan of interactive experiences. I’m nearly always the first person to volunteer when performers ask for an assistant….after a little persuasion. Being in London there’s a tone of these cool immersive/interactive experiences, both with and without food and varying in levels of participation. So I thought I would put together a little guide for you all.

The London Shuffle Club

In London we’re constantly looking for the next exciting activity. We’ve had all the varieties of mini/crazy golf (swingers, junk yard, etc..) which have had us ticking over for a while now. But now its time for something new!

An evening at La Soirée

There is a bit of a theatre theme this week on the blog. But this show couldn’t be further from The Royal. The best way to describe La Soirée is, like going to an amazing adult version of the circus……with some rather graphic adult interludes, all done in jest of course! img_5168
