I appreciate I’ve been a terrible blogger. It’s been a good 6 months since I last posted. I’ve come to realise that I go through phases when it comes to blogging or writing and generally speaking, when the weather is lovely and I’ve got a ton going on, sadly blogging tends to fall at the waistline.
As an ex drama student, and someone that grew up wanting to become an actress/famous, it’s no real shock that I’m a huge fan of interactive experiences. I’m nearly always the first person to volunteer when performers ask for an assistant….after a little persuasion. Being in London there’s a tone of these cool immersive/interactive experiences, both with and without food and varying in levels of participation. So I thought I would put together a little guide for you all.
I’m a big fan of French food, and I certainly don’t eat it enough. I’m a sucker for sticking to Italian or some kind of Asian food, simply because I feel like you can’t go wrong with it. But when the delightful new Bon Vivant opened its doors over near Russell Square I had to give it a go.
For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you will know I’m a little bit obsessed with sushi. It’s the one type of food that I don’t think I ever could or would get board of. So when I discovered this little place called sushi café in Battersea, I knew I would quickly become a regular, and I’ve been singing its praises ever since.
Until I started my new job, my old office was based on Gloucester road. A lovely little area just round the corner from South Kensington. It has lots of lovely hotels, some BEAUTIFUL houses but not a tone of great places to eat. Burger King and KFC are the first things that greet you as you come out of the tube for goodness sake! So when I saw that they were opening a new Comptoir Libanais on the same road as said Burger King, I was ecstatic! And even more so when they asked me to come down for dinner and try it out.
