Brixton beach has been given a make over!
You may remember my post a little while back about Pop Brixton, that at the time had just opened. Well, as you can image, a year on and the place is now in full swing and somewhere that Ed and I go to often, due to it’s easy of location and the variety of food it has to offer. It’s perfect if you both fancy something different for dinner or it’s just a lovely sunny day.
One place in Pop that, without a doubt, I go to every time we are there is Koi Ramen Bar.
As I previously mentioned, I went to taste of London! It was fantastic. Make sure you go next year if you missed out this year.
While I was there I got chatting to a lovely chap called Harry who worked for Deliveroo. For those of you that haven’t seen all their ads all over the tube, they are a new delivery company with a twist. Unlike “justeat” or “hungry house” that will deliver you food from any takeaway restaurant, Deliveroo will bring you food from your fave restaurants that don’t offer a delivery service for a small fee of £2.50. They even deliver to your office! Great idea right! That’s what I thought when I first heard of them a couple of months ago.
Apologies for my disappearance this week. Those of you that follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t, why not!?) will know i was sunning myself in Portugal with the boy and his family. But i’m back now so things should resume as normal, or at least that’s the idea!
So back in dreary London, after a rather heavy weekend of drinking, hearing about Pop Brixton’s soft launch weekend sounded like the perfect hangover cure. Plus its super close to Ed’s flat, so we took a wonder down to see exactly what was going on with all those shipping containers!
This weekend, I, like many other couples, went to go and see 50 Shades of Grey. Having read all three books i secretly had high hopes, despite knowing deep down i would probably be disappointed.
