A beach has come to London. No I’m not going crazy, and yes it is a real beach….it just doesn’t have any water at the end of it sadly. But what it does have is its own night club! Brixton Beach Boulevard has arrived.
I’m a big fan of Amsterdam. I’ve always thought as far as weekend breaks go, it’s perfect! With only an hour flight and only an hours time difference it’s the perfect destination for a quick get away.
I frigging loved Breaking Bad. Like A LOT! I didn’t initially, I tried watching it a couple of times when it first came out and just couldn’t get into it, but when I started re watching it last year I got seriously hooked. It’s safe to say there was a Jessie size hole in my heart when it ended. So when I heard about ABQ’s Breaking Bad pop up I knew I had to go! Luckily my boyfriend knows me too well and this year he added it to my list of birthday activities/presents.
Thai food is probably my fave food, if not fave then 100% top 3, so you can image my excitement when I was invited to the launch of a new Thai restaurant last week out in Guildford.
Thaikhun, which is part of the Thai Leisure Group, currently has 6 different restaurants all over the country and have finally opened a 7th down south in Guildford! Based in the middle of Friary Street it couldn’t be in a better location if it tried, sandwiched between the high street and the Friary Centre it’s the perfect spot pre, post or mid shopping trip!
We have the most incredible Au Pair. When i say we, i mean my mum, for the kids, not me! She loves my siblings and has more patience than anyone i have ever met before in my entire life! She really has become part of the family. But sadly, she is leaving us 😦 we’re all devastated, but its whats best for her.
Catching up with the girls is probably one of my fave things to do, and when it’s sunny and your in London, Covent Garden tends to just call you! So when the lovely Shay and I get together it always seems to be the place we head to!
On this occasion we popped into Brasserie Blanc, at the top of the piazza with a balcony the runs along the whole width of the place, it’s the perfect outside dinning area for drinks in the sun and some people watching!
When the sun is out, pretty much everyone goes in search of a roof top bar/restaurant to catch the rays and get merry. I’m no different! As soon as the sun even begins to make an appearance i jump at the chance to find a beer garden or roof top for post work drinks. This weekend my delightful bestie Meems suggested we pop over to The Boundary, in the heart of Shoreditch, for exactly that, post work drinks in the sun.
In case you hadn’t noticed by now, i’m a bit of a foodie. By that i mean, I LOVE FOOD! So when i heard that Street Feast was returning to Dalston, just round the corner from my beautiful friend Simona, for the summer i couldn’t resist dragging her down there for some serious indulgence!
April is just a month full of birthday’s for me! From the very start, and every week thereafter i have a birthday to celebrate. The second birthday i had was my darling friend Shay’s.
I love Shay, she’s one of those girls that you know your guaranteed to have a good night with, regardless of what it is you have planned. Hence why i was more than happy to head over to All Star Lanes on brick lane to help her celebrate this year.
Last night i indulged oh so much! I met my lovely friend Shay, who i haven’t seen for faaaaar too long as she was swanning off around the world, for cocktails, food and a good old natter. My dream night really! We went to a place called Sticks n Sushi in Covent Garden. I’ve walked past it before and always wanted to try it, so this seemed like the perfect time.
