Dinner at Cicchetti

You may have hear me mention before that I love finding secret little gem’s when it comes to restaurants. Well this is certainly another one of those. Nestled in the heart of Piccadilly, I always assume most of the restaurants around there are simply tourist hot spots and usually chains. But Cicchetti is far from either of those…..OK technically it is sort of a chain as they have another one over in Covent Garden, one in Manchester and a couple over seas, but it really doesn’t feel like one!

Señor Ceviche

So I think its safe to say that ceviche is my new fave food at the moment. I know its very “on trend” right now, but that’s not why. I have always been a massive fan of sashimi and ceviche is essentially that, but with some added incredible flavours. So I was incredibly excited to try Señor Ceviche over in Kingly Court for the first time.

Experiencing Dinner with The Twits

So I few weeks ago I told you all about the super exciting new immersive dining experience that was taking place, Dinner with The Twits. Well, the lovely lot at Bumpass and Parr and Les Enfants Terribles invited me down to The Vaults for a little taster of the full event.

Dinner at Roka Aldwych

As I’ve said, countless times by now, I’m a big fan of Book A Table. I’ve been signed up to their emails for yonks and also love scrolling through their star deals to see what top restaurants I can go to at a third of the price. This week, it was Roka over in Aldwych.

Dinner at Nat.ive

For my mum’s very belated birthday, I had booked us tickets to go and see Motown the Musical. With the show not starting until 7:30pm we needed somewhere fairly close but very yummy for dinner first, which is how I found Nat.ive.

Brixton Beach Boulevard

A beach has come to London. No I’m not going crazy, and yes it is a real beach….it just doesn’t have any water at the end of it sadly. But what it does have is its own night club! Brixton Beach Boulevard has arrived.

Best dumpling in Brixton

You may remember my post a little while back about Pop Brixton, that at the time had just opened. Well, as you can image, a year on and the place is now in full swing and somewhere that Ed and I go to often, due to it’s easy of location and the variety of food it has to offer. It’s perfect if you both fancy something different for dinner or it’s just a lovely sunny day.

One place in Pop that, without a doubt, I go to every time we are there is Koi Ramen Bar.

All new May Fair Kitchen

I love Mayfair. As an area I think there’s just something about it that’s so sophisticated. The designer stores, the beautiful Green Park opposite and of course, the selection of amazing restaurants.

The week before last I had the opportunity to try one of those restaurants with work, the recently revamped May Fair Kitchen.
