It’s true, i’m a Five Guy virgin! I know, I know, I’m super late jumping on this band wagon, and considering there is one at the end of the road my office is on, i really have no excuse. It’s just every time i have walked past, there is some sort of crazy cue, or the people i’m with don’t fancy a burger. So it’s just sort of never happened. But last week i decided enough was enough! I was going to take the Five Guy plunge.
April is just a month full of birthday’s for me! From the very start, and every week thereafter i have a birthday to celebrate. The second birthday i had was my darling friend Shay’s.
I love Shay, she’s one of those girls that you know your guaranteed to have a good night with, regardless of what it is you have planned. Hence why i was more than happy to head over to All Star Lanes on brick lane to help her celebrate this year.
You should have seen my little face when i got the lovely comment from Westfourteen explaining that she was nominating me for The Liebster Award.
I’d never heard of The Liebster Award until now, but i love the idea behind it. It’s essentially an award created by bloggers for bloggers to just show appreciation for all the great things we all post!
After our first crazy night out, not getting home ’till gone 5am, we woke up mid afternoon, well Sim and i did, poor Chloe was rudely awoken by the glorious sunshine pouring in through her un-curtained room at 8am. Not want you want when we only crawled into bed at 5! Determined to make the most of what was left of the day we headed straight out in search of the Jewish War Memorial.
Last night i indulged oh so much! I met my lovely friend Shay, who i haven’t seen for faaaaar too long as she was swanning off around the world, for cocktails, food and a good old natter. My dream night really! We went to a place called Sticks n Sushi in Covent Garden. I’ve walked past it before and always wanted to try it, so this seemed like the perfect time.
This weekend, I, like many other couples, went to go and see 50 Shades of Grey. Having read all three books i secretly had high hopes, despite knowing deep down i would probably be disappointed.
I love sushi. I always have. Ever since i was little and my mum forced me to try it once. Its safe to say its my favorite. So when i had seen/heard all the reviews about the new Murakami restaurant that had opened up, just down the road from my office, i couldn’t resist dragging my bestest work friend Tasha along for a Friday treat!
Tonight was family dinner, so we headed to a fairly new place in Weybridge called The Tree House. Its been open a little while now, and its safe to say, the location could be classed as somewhat doomed! Every restaurant that has been there before it hasn’t lasted long. Its hard to say what the reason could be. Most of the ones before it were chains so that could be why, but theres also no parking which for families is always a big no no! However, so far, The Tree House seems to be doing well.
